Team sources confirmed today that second baseman Aaron Hill and the Julian Javelina are in the process of finalizing terms on a one-year contract extension aimed at keeping Hill in Julian through the 2013 season. Hill, who came to Julian via an in-draft trade, was recently voted the team's MVP after a season in which he hit .302/.360/.522 with 44 doubles, 26 homers, 93 runs, 86 runs batted in and 14 steals.
